OBJECTIVE:
Production and commercialization of modern coating systems (patent application PCT / PL2015 / 000077) and modern probiotic products used in prophylactic and antibiotic prophylaxis with a buffering system in the form of rinse tablets resulting from research and development. The applicant wishes to disseminate the results of the research by selling the technological solutions to Polish and foreign clients as ready coating systems and supporting the dissemination through the organization of research and production services consisting in adapting appropriate solutions to tablet core compositions, related complex laboratory and production services including preparation of tablets, laboratory tests and scale-up. Conducting the described activities within a single facility allows you to set performance parameters by reducing the problems of moving production to the customer.

The applicant wishes to disseminate the results of the research by selling the technological solutions to Polish and foreign clients as ready coating systems and supporting the dissemination through the organization of research and production services consisting in adapting appropriate solutions to tablet core compositions, related complex laboratory and production services including preparation of tablets, laboratory tests and scale-up. Conducting the described activities within a single facility allows you to set performance parameters by reducing the problems of moving production to the customer. The proposed solutions for the application of coating systems will be selected in terms of:
– protection of the core of the tablet by external factors such as oxygen, moisture or light – a series of barrier coating systems,
– enhancing the attractiveness of tablet formulas for taste and odor masking – a series of taste-masking products, with added sucrose and or sweeteners,
– changes in tablet release patterns – a series of coating systems changing the tablet’s gastric release site and / or extending release of the active ingredient,
– selection of colors together with calculation of acceptable daily doses of particular dyes.
The project also envisages the production and dissemination of an innovative series of probiotic products in the form of tablets used in prophylactic and adjuvant antimicrobial therapy with a buffering system to ensure the survival of Lactobacillus passage bacteria through the acidic environment of the stomach.

Environment:
Applied technologies in the production plant will be low-emission, will be equipped with EU-7 or EU-9 air purifiers?
The share of liquid waste will be low, substances discharged in the form of waste water will contain residues of substances authorized for use in the food industry – most of them have E symbols.
The use of coatings with natural dyes will result in less environmental burden of toxic azo dyes. They will be replaced by natural dyes naturally occurring in plant raw materials, for example, citrus – flavonoid rutin and quartzetin – described in PCT / PL2015 / 000077. Azo dyes are suspected to be carcinogenic and responsible for hyperactivity in children, which limits their use in pediatric products.
The production will be equipped with LED lighting, which will be energy-efficient and will not generate waste in the form of fluorescent lamps.
The plant will be equipped with a set of solar water heaters that will reduce energy consumption.
The quality control laboratory will be equipped with ultra-high pressure liquid chromatographs, which will reduce the amount of organic solvent consumed and the amount of the resulting beakers.
Re-use of plastic wrappers on envelopes supplied to customers is envisaged.
